12. Programming of PIN Code (New Code)

In order to make it easier for the user and also to increase the level

of security, the user can select his own personal code to be used in

conjunction with the magnetic card.

This code (PIN-code) is programmed as follows :-

Press #

The red LED illuminates

Swipe the card

Enter 0000

Enter required 4 digit PIN

code

Re-enter required 4 digit

PIN code

Press #

The PIN code is stored in the

memory of the card reader and

the reader returns to working

mode.

13. Programming of PIN Code (Changing Existing Code)

To change an existing PIN-code proceed as follows :-

Press #

The red LED illuminates

Swipe the card

Enter existing PIN code

Enter required 4 digit PIN

code

Re-enter required 4 digit

PIN code

Press #

The PIN code is stored in the

memory of the card reader and

the reader returns to working

mode.

If you have more than one Unicard installed in the same

installation, the programming function will need to be repeated

for each reader.
